Bible Bowl & Oratorical Festivals - June 21 in Norwood

Every good and perfect gift is from above! If you have been given the gift of music from our Gracious God, please join us for the summer Sacred Music Institute (SMI), where people can come together to learn and sharpen their skills. We never, ever stop learning. If we are accomplished teachers, we are still students. The Sacred Music Institute has been compared to a Family Reunion. Even if we arrive not knowing anyone, we leave as a family of believers with a common goal: to worship God and give thanks to Him for every breath we take and every note we sing and chant. Youth Music Ministry: July 9-13 @ AV
Do you know teens in your parish who like to sing church music? The archdiocese Department of Sacred Music offers a wonderful opportunity for teens ages 14-18 to participate in the Youth Music Ministry program of the summer Sacred Music Institute. Teens learn about both the four part choral and Byzantine chant traditions. Through scholarships, the archdiocese covers the cost of the program itself and our diocese covers the cost of transportation. Please have anyone interested contact our diocese Sacred Music Coordinator, Charlie Marge, charlie.marge@verizon.net.
