Parish Chapter

The mission here at St. Mary’s is to provide funding for organizations both inside and outside of St. Mary’s.

  1. Sunday School
We provide financial funding and support. We sponsor Coffee hours at the closing of the Sunday School year and for St. Nicholas Day. We can assist the Hospitality Group as needed in providing funds for the Back Pack Project  and for school supplies.
  2. Battered Women’s Shelter
The Women’s group has a long history of providing support for the YWCA. We give Target gift cards to the residents and toys for their children at Christmas. A new project is beginning where we will assist the YWCA (at their request) to supply bedding – sheets, pillows, blankets - by soliciting donations from the parish.
  3. Clergy Widowed Wives Project and Convent of Saidnaya
We raise funds for these organization thru fundraising with Christmas Card and Bake Sales
  4. Mini Retreats
Featuring a guest speaker  open to all women to learn more about how to understand our world as Orthodox Christians .
