Fellowship Hour Ministry
May we be United in the Fellowship of His Love and His Light!
Be a part of a service that unites us. The Fellowship Hour Ministry creates a unique opportunity for us to break fast together after liturgy, welcome visitors, attract membership, support one another, and build friendships. The Ministry hosts a weekly gathering after Liturgy each Sunday by serving coffee and modest foods to bring people together.
Hosts are Needed - Volunteer to Serve!
Hosts are needed every Sunday to provide food and drink. Some basics are supplied by donors (coffee/creamer, cold drinks, bagel toppings). Hosts bring additional foods such as bagels, pita bread/hummus, fruit or veggies, and/or sweets. It can be as simple as only bagels! The hosts set up, serve, and clean up, often with help from other parishioners. Once each month, the hosts coordinate with the Neighbor Outreach ministry for "Sandwich Sunday".
To sign up for an available Sunday, please put your name on the signup sheet on the bulletin board outside the Hall or contact the coordinator, Shannon Sakellariou. Guidance for planning and hosting a Fellowship Hour is available here. If you need any help with figuring out what to bring or how to host, please contact Shannon. In general, a 3-month schedule is created in advance from the volunteer list, but you may choose a specific date to host or change dates with other volunteers, as needed.
Donations
If you cannot host for any reason, but would like to support the Ministry financially, please make a donation to help supply the basics. This lightens the load for the hosts. Contact Shannon for details.
