Questions and Answers:
What will the cost be?
The cost for the groceries will be split. The Fellowship Hour groceries are expected to be approximately $75-$85. The cost for the Neighbor Outreach groceries will be similar, but will be reimbursed by Neighbor Outreach by Venmo, Zelle, or Check.
Who provides the condiments?
The condiments will be provided by Fellowship Hour and Neighbor Outreach Supplies.
Who provides the peanut butter and jelly?
The peanut butter and jelly will be provided by Fellowship Hour and Neighbor Outreach Supplies.
Can I use a grocery store other than Market Basket?
Yes, however, the Somerville Market Basket is preferred because of its general cost savings and the store is familiar with Neighbor Outreach and its orders.
Can I add things to the Fellowship Hour table?
Yes, you may add whatever you would like, keeping mind that one of the goals here is simplicity and a reminder to us all that what is a needed meal for our Neighbors is often an entitlement for others.
[1] Set out the meats, cheese, lettuce, bread (cut in half slices) for half sandwiches, condiments, etc. Serve out meat, cheese, and lettuce individually to guests as they pass in line. Condiments are available in the kitchen provided by Fellowship Hour and Neighbor Outreach supplies. You will also prepare drinks as you normally would for Fellowship Hour, supplies provided by Fellowship Hour and available in the kitchen i.e. coffee, tea, juice.
[2] In the parish hall, sandwiches for our Neighbors will be prepared by attendees during Fellowship Hour. Hosts will prepare boxes with sandwich ingredients to be distributed to tables. First time hosts will be assisted by experienced hosts to help with box preparation.
